She gave up classroom education for music and shot to fame during the finals of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's Challenge 2005. She was the winner along with Aiswarya in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ek Main Aur Ek Tu competition.

Ujjaini's bent towards music was gauged even before she started speaking. She began training at a very early age and continued to follow her passion through the years.

She has lent her voice for Jatin Lalit's 'Fanaa' and now once again for Marvel's melodious song in 'The Perfect Woman'.
