Art Director

Manju has been a proponent of all art forms including painting, music, musical dance-drama, decoration and design from a very early age. She has directed several Tagore musicals such as Chitrangada, Shapmochon, and Chandalika. Palli Kahini the stories of the village, was her rendition of the ever popular folk songs and dances of Bengal with an underlying story of the simple, yet not so simple, lives and livelihood in the villages. She has been acclaimed for her special attention to details, specially in the areas of stage setting and presentation, and costume design and singing.
